BIOFEEDBACK

Bio-feedback is a method of visualizing and training the normal activity that results from the mind-body interface. By using these signals as real-time feedback, people can learn to perceive usually unconscious processes, thus allowing them to self-regulate normal processes to improve their health.

The ultimate goal of biofeedback is to gain more control over normal processes and to influence the behavior that leads to imbalances in these processes. Biofeedback is about achieving optimal health in physical, motor, mental and emotional states. It focuses on treating the cause of the health problems, rather than treating the symptoms.

CIRCULATED UP AND DOWN END

Limb circulation therapy

Limb circulation therapy (press therapy) is a valid therapeutic method to strengthen the proper venous circulation, reducing muscle tension caused by stress or chronic or acute pain: with its special pressing action, it helps in venous return, increasing the flow in tissues and their normal renewal. Circulation therapy can solve the problem of stagnation of blood in damaged blood vessels, or in parts of the body that are not properly nourished. External pressure helps the excess fluid to return to the circulation more easily, to be eliminated properly and quickly, thus helping the proper functioning of the lymphatic system. It is indicated for patients with signs of venous stagnation, venous insufficiency, trophic lesions and varicose veins and in all cases where there is poor venous circulation caused by fatigue and fatigue.

Main applications:

  • Lymphatic ulcer treatment

  • Passive compression for venous disorders

  • Post-operative prophylaxis in venous thrombosis operations

  • Treatment of venous ulcer

  • Arm drainage after mastectomy

  • Hematoma treatment after plastic surgery

  • Anti-cellulite treatment in the early stages

  • Tired legs

  • Recovery of muscle tone in immobilized patients or people with disabilities (in this case, press therapy replaces the classic massage for nutrition therapies)

TENS ELECTROTHERAPY

Electrotherapy is an essential method of treatment not only in orthopedic and neurological cases but in almost the whole range of medicine.

Tens are predominantly analgesic  currents and used in

  • Tendonitis

  • Arthritis

  • Ligament and muscle injuries

  • Fractures

  • Ligament injuries

  • Cervical syndrome

  • Lumbago

  • Sciatica

and in the prevention of muscle and degenerative lesions of muscle tissue after prolonged immobilization (eg in the elderly).

ULTRASOUND

Ultrasound is a machine that, thanks to a sensor located on the contact head, converts electricity into mechanical vibrations (sound waves) which will be transmitted to the innermost layers of the skin. It causes analgesia, tissue hyperemia, has a healing and anti-inflammatory effect.

  Suitable for

  • Arthritis

  • Burning pain

  • Epicondylitis

  • Periarthritis

  • Shoulder arms

  • Myalgia

  • Neuralgia

  • Inflammation of tendons

  • Lumbago

  • Sciatica

  • Cervical syndrome

DIATHERMY

Heat treatment through much and deep heat. Topical application of heat increases the flexibility of the collagen of the tendons, reduces muscle spasm and stiffness while relieving pain.

Used once the inflammatory phase is complete.

Advantages

  • Reduction of pain

  • Increase in tissue temperature

  • Increased blood flow

  • Increase the elasticity of collagen

  • Reduction of joint stiffness

Shortwave Diathermy

The effect of short waves is important on the circulatory system, it offers fast wound healing, pain reduction, absorption of swelling and defects.

It is indicated

  • Deformative arthritis

  • Ankylosing spondylitis - Bechterew's arthritis

  • Epicondylitis

  • Myalgia

  • Periarthritis

  • Periostitis

  • Sciatica

Electromassage (Massage)

By massage we mean a set of manipulations based on the principles of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.

Electromassage is a pulse massage device that creates deep hyperemia in the muscle tissues.

Massage is applied to combat

  • Muscle spasms

  • Of back pain

  • Of sciatica

  • Of neck pain

  • In fractures

PARAFFIN BATH

The Paraffin Bath is a paraffin heating device (candle).

Applies to

  • Chronic and acute arthropathy

  • Treatment of joint stiffness after injury or surgery

ΔΙΝΟΛΟΥΤΡΟ

Dinolout is part of Hydrotherapy. Increases lymphatic and blood circulation helping to absorb swelling and hematomas, improving joint mobility.

Applying mainly to

  • Sprains

  • Ligament ruptures (eg anterior cleft)

  • Tendon ruptures (eg Achilles tendon)

  • Fractures

  • Fractures

  • Arthritis

  • Backaches

Brain Light - Hydrosun® 750 Irradiator

Hydrosun® 750 radiation is the ideal solution in infrared radiation applications such as lipolysis, tissue heating for faster recovery of wounds, inflammation, in many other diseases and in general where increased blood flow is required.
The built-in light source concentrates the light over a wide area, resulting in greater energy transfer to the target area.

CRYOTHERAPY

With cryotherapy we achieve the fight against inflammation and swelling, but also pain in a way that surpasses the simple application of the usual cold compresses.

Physiotherapy rehabilitation from diseases such as

  • Fractures

  • Tendonitis

  • Backaches

  • Sciatica

  • Swelling

  • Cervical diseases

  • Rheumatic Diseases

  • Neurological diseases

  • Athletic injuries

LAZER

The HPLB power device is an advanced hospital laser unit  state-of-the-art type. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and healing effects.  The laser has very good results in

  • Ligament injuries (eg ruptures)

  • Tendon injuries (eg ruptures)

  • Muscle injuries (eg fractures)

SHOCKWAVE TREATMENT - Percussive Ultrasound

Percussive ultrasound is a new successful approach in the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal diseases, especially those that do not respond to the traditional methods of treatment. The results of this method show that shock wave therapy provides an improved blood supply to the area of pain and is also, perhaps, the only method that with its application as monotherapy (ie only with shock waves) gives such results in musculoskeletal disorders.

How it is applied

The use of percussive ultrasound is simple. The physiotherapist locates where the pain is coming from, applies gel to the affected area and uses the device on the injured tissues in the area.

Long Term Results

Shock waves affect the function of the cell membrane. As a result, pain sensors no longer produce pain signals. Chronic inflammation turns into acute inflammation that is detected and treated by the body, ie the body's automatic healing mechanisms are activated.

Diseases that can be treated with Shockwave therapy

  • Tennis elbow

  • Heel pain (plantar fasciitis)

  • Shoulder pain (swivel horseshoe

  • Lymphatic tendonitis

  • Jumpers knee syndrome

  • Tibial extremity syndrome

  • Tendonitis of the Achilles tendon

  • Hip tape syndrome

  • Neck pain

  • Sciatica

  • Lumbago

HOSKINETIC TREATMENT

Isokinetic therapy is a revolutionary training method that leads to fast and successful results. Increases muscle strength, where even painful locks can be trained loosely. On support machines, the speed can be adjusted.

The effect of the treatment increases with the effort to train faster. For this reason, the  volume can be adjusted specifically for each person. It is a safe type of exercise and an important tool for any treatment.

Applications of isokinization

Isokinetic dynamometers are used to assess muscle function after injury and the effects of a variety of treatment and rehabilitation methods. In addition to evaluating rehabilitation programs, isokinetics is a modern therapeutic method of exercise and strengthening. Its purpose after injury or surgery is to restore normal muscle function to the injured limb that has suffered muscle atrophy.
